Despite the inevitable freezing temps, I’ve always found it so peaceful to experience these naturally occurring monochromatic landscapes in the high Arctic. The shapes and textures become the main feature of the mountain, often revealing interesting scenes that would otherwise be lost in the rocky slopes.
